Wednesday, Asus announced that the ROG Ally handheld gaming device will be released in India on July 7. The company introduced the device earlier this year.
The ROG Ally, according to Asus, will revolutionize gaming in India’s competitive community. Beginning July 12, the device will be available for Rs 69,990 at Asus exclusive stores, the Asus Eshop, and Flipkart.
Additionally, the company will host a one-day Flash sale on Flipkart on July 7, giving prospective purchasers early access to the handheld.
The first 200 customers who purchase the ROG Ally from the ASUS Eshop or ASUS Stores on July 12 will receive a free ROG Ally Case valued at Rs 2,000, according to Asus.
Asus ROG Ally: Technical Specifications
The ROG Ally has dimensions of 280 x 111 x 21.2 mm, a weight of 608 grams, and an aluminum chassis. The gaming console has a 7-inch FHD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is propelled by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. You receive up to 512GB M.2 NVME Gen4 SSD storage, which is expandable via microSD.
The system is Windows 11-based. Users can also connect an external GPU to the console, which is compatible with up to the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU-equipped ROG XG Mobile.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), and a 3.5mm audio port. The portable gaming console is powered by a 40Wh battery that supports rapid recharge.
