Samsung may release a FE series smartphone shortly. The last Galaxy FE phone was the Galaxy S21 FE, released in January 2022. There was no Galaxy S22 FE, supporting rumors of Samsung ending its inexpensive flagship smartphone line.
New rumors say the Galaxy Fan Edition series phones are still alive. Samsung may release the Galaxy S23 FE later this year. The phone’s specs are online.
A fresh rumor disclosed the Galaxy S23 FE’s battery specs and other features. Before its release, the item was detected on SafetyKorea, South Korea’s electrical and electronic equipment certification website. Let’s examine the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE’s specs, features, and other data before its rumored release.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launch: What Is Known?
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may debut later this year. SafetyKorea certified the phone’s battery. GalaxyClub found the Galaxy S23 FE’s EB-BS711ABY battery on the certification page. A Galaxy S23 FE with model number SM-S711 uses such a battery.
Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t indicate the S23 FE’s battery capacity. The phone may have a 4500mAh battery.
WinFuture reported on prototypes of the supposed gadget using import-export databases. Galaxy S23 FE version SM-711B, reportedly the European form, specifically states “S23 FE”. The Galaxy S23 FE will also have a 50MP primary camera sensor, according to the database.
After the initial production tools and components were recorded in the same databases, the entries were recorded at the end of April 2023. The investigation said that a new Samsung smartphone usually goes on sale three months after its initial mention in these databases.
Thus, the Galaxy S23 FE may ship in August or September instead of next month’s Unpacked event. Samsung has not announced Galaxy S23 FE launch information. Thus, the disclosed launch timetable should be treated with caution.
Other Galaxy S23 FE information have surfaced. It may have an Exynos 2200 SoC. The Galaxy S23 series uses the 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Samsung’s flagship and Fan Edition series share the same processor. Samsung may employ its in-house, less efficient Exynos 2200 SoC for the S23 FE to save costs and differentiate premium phones.
