The tech ministry supports BCI advancement 2023

An official from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology claimed on Monday that the technology of brain-computer interfaces will receive major support in the future industrial growth of China and that more efforts will be made to speed progress in the sector.

The statement was made in response to a question on whether or not additional efforts would be made to accelerate advancement in the field.

Zhao Zhiguo, the head engineer at the MIIT, is now speaking at the Zhongguancun Forum, which is taking place right now. He added that more rapid attempts would be made to research application scenarios for the technology.

The purpose of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology is to create a channel of communication that flows in both directions between the human brain and an external device like a computer. It is generally acknowledged as an indispensable piece of technology in a variety of fields, including the medical field.

“China is currently in possession of a fully established industrial chain in the field of BCI. This industry chain encompasses both technology and application.

According to his explanation, applications that are comparable to those that were mentioned have already been put to use in a variety of industries, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, and the entertainment business.
